Magic Crystal Live Wallpaper.The present invention relates to a winged flap of a cargo container, with a cover hinged at an edge portion of the cargo container. The flaps form an opening into the cargo container and a downwardly facing wing associated with each flap. The flaps are affixed, e.g. by welding, to the cargo container, whereas the wing is affixed to the flap.
Such winged flaps of cargo containers are known per se. In modern cargo containers, such winged flaps are closed by covers. The covers are positioned in the closed position by hinges to form hinge openings. The hinge openings are dimensioned to allow the insertion of a hinge into the hinge openings, so that the hinges are coupled to the covers. In the known cargo containers of the above-described type, however, the hinge openings are too small, so that it is difficult to insert the hinges into the hinge openings. Moreover, due to the small hinge openings, it is difficult to handle the hinges.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a winged flap, with which the problem in the prior art cargo container is at least partially overcome.
In keeping with these objects and with others which will become apparent hereinafter, one feature of the present invention resides, briefly stated, in a winged flap having at least one cover hingeably connected to a cargo container. At least one wing is connected to the cover, and covers the hinge opening to open and close the hinge opening. The wing is connected to the cover at an edge portion of the cargo container and is affixed to the cover by a welding seam.
The present invention, therefore, makes it possible to considerably increase the size of the hinge openings, so that, when the winged flap is closed, the welded seam is directed through the hinge opening. As a result, the hinge opening is of sufficient size to easily handle the hinges. For the same reason, it is no longer necessary to insert each hinge into the hinge opening, which accordingly can be done more easily.
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, the wing is formed by a plane. In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, the wing is formed by at least one plane surface.
